In her spare time, Laura enjoys spending time with her clowder of kitties as well as singing karaoke and baking.

Veterinary Assistant

In her spare time, Cathy enjoys cat sitting and is an avid Maple Leafs fan.

Sarah Morrison

Receptionist

Sarah embodies the ideal qualities of a veterinary receptionist, creating a warm and welcoming environment for both pets and their owners. When not working at the clinic, Sarah loves spending time with her lovable cat Rosie (purebred Persian) and watching sports.

Ania Kwitek

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Ania is an accomplished veterinary technician with her remarkable combination of qualities that make up her 27 years of experience in small animal medicine.

Her interest in wildlife is what led her to veterinary medicine. Ania enjoys forging personal relationships with our clients, she provides excellent client and animal services, always with so much passion, love and care. She always had love and interest in animals.

Ania has a passion for veterinary medicine, particularly in surgical procedures, dental care and animal rehabilitation. As a veterinary technician she likely plays a crucial role in assisting veterinarians during surgeries, performing dental radiographs, dental cleaning, and providing best care to animals before during and after procedures.

Ania has develop her passion for animal rehabilitation, wants to focus on physical therapy techniques, therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation principles specifically tailored for animals, such as hydro therapy, underwater treadmill, massage therapy, therapeutic exercises and laser therapy.

Ania’s interest in animal rehabilitation led into a fulfilling career dedicated to helping animals recover, regain mobility, and lead happier, healthier lives.

When not at work Ania enjoys going for hikes with her loving dog, 6-year-old Golden Retriever named Mugzy, enjoys nice long walks by the beach, exploring different parks and different trails.

On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Loves to travel.

Ania’s interest in animal rehabilitation is both valuable and rewarding, as it pays a crucial role in helping animals recover from injuries, surgeries or chronic conditions, and improve their overall quality of life.

Becky Lewis

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Becky, a registered veterinary technician, is an exceptional individual who brings a multitude of qualities to her role. Her intelligence is evident in her ability to quickly grasp complex medical concepts and apply them effectively in her daily tasks. She is a determined professional who never shies away from a challenge, working to provide the best care for every animal under her charge. Becky is a true team-player, always willing to lend a helping hand to her colleagues and collaborate seamlessly to achieve the best outcomes for her patients. Her caring and gentle nature extend to both the animals she cares for and the pet owners who trust her expertise. Whether comforting a nervous pet or offering guidance and reassurance to a concerned owner, Becky’s compassionate approach makes a significant difference in the lives of those she serves. Becky’s unique combination of intelligence, determination, teamwork, and a caring spirit makes her a vital asset in the field of veterinary medicine.
Becky graduated from Sheridan College in 2023. Before becoming a technician, Becky completed a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology at the University of Guelph, with Honours. Her longtime goal is to continue her education and become a Veterinarian. At home, Becky has 2 small dogs and 3 cats. She has always grown up around animals and has always had a strong passion for animal care.

When she is not at the clinic or caring for her own pets, Becky loves spending time with her friends and family. She also plays softball and really enjoys music and going to concerts!

Evan Bleakney

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

During his spare time, Evan enjoys writing short stories, playing drums and guitar, and cooking.

Amanda Thomson

RVT, Office Manager

Amanda, an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), brings a wealth of expertise and a special passion for surgery to our team. Her dedication to the well-being of our patients is truly exceptional, and her teammates describe her as a standout professional who embodies the qualities of intelligence, compassion, and attentiveness. When she is not caring for pets at the clinic, Amanda enjoys traveling to warmer places and regularly volunteers at various shelters abroad doing spay/neuter clinics, walking dogs and socializing cats at the shelters.

Amanda resides in Oakville with her sweet cat Gracie.
