Cats 7 + Years

If your cat is 7 years of age or older, there is an increased chance that they could be at risk for kidney disease and other treatable conditions.

The best way to know for sure is to have your cat checked out by their veterinarian at least once a year. Physical examination and blood tests will reveal issues you may not be aware of.

Watch out for the following signs:

  • Weight loss
  • Drinking more
  • Eating less or just being “picky.”
  • Increased urination
  • Hiding
  • Increased vocalization
  • Dull coat
  • Bad breath
  • Intermittent vomiting

Early detection of problems and earlier treatment will lead to longer and happier lives!
